Vibrant CNE Exhibition Engagement Session

Engagement sessions are such a fun way to capture love in its most natural form. Recently, I had the chance to photograph Kayla and Patrick’s engagement session at the CNE in Toronto, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting.

The fairgrounds were alive with energy — glowing lights, cheerful sounds, and the sweet mix of popcorn and cotton candy in the air. Everywhere we turned, there were backdrops full of colour and charm, from spinning rides to game stalls.

Kayla and Patrick brought their own joy to the scene. They laughed together by the food stands, playfully tried their luck at the games, and even won a few silly prizes. As they strolled hand in hand, their love and excitement for each other made every moment feel genuine. The lively atmosphere drew out their playful side, and I captured candid shots that felt effortless and true to who they are.

What I loved most about this session is how the CNE itself became part of Kayla and Patrick’s story. Just like a wedding day, it was full of joy, celebration, and a touch of magic. In the middle of all the noise and colour, we created images that feel timeless — a reminder that love shines brightest when it’s shared in the little moments. For Kayla and Patrick, the CNE brought out the laughter, energy, and connection that defines their love. It was such a memorable day, and I can’t wait to capture their wedding at the end of the year.
